VAEE Conference - Fall 2017 Registration and Scholarships

Tomorrow August 1st is the last day to apply for our available scholarships for this year's VAEE Conference at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal, VA. We have an exciting line up of co-current sessions, keynote speakers, field trips and networking opportunities in store so if you find that your attendance this year is limited by funds please consider applying. If you have a free day on this Thursday August 3rd please consider joining us for our Virginia EE Certification Curriculum Writing Session at the New Kent Forestry Center from from 10am-4pm.  We look forward to moving this process forward and establish an environmental education certification program in our state.   • Water Data for the Nation -- This is the public web interface to the USGS National Water Information System and provides access to water-resources data collected at approximately 1.5 million sites.
  • Water Quality Portal -- Integrates publicly available water quality data from the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS) and the EPA STOrage and RETrieval (STORET) Data Warehouse.
  • National Ground-Water Monitoring Network -- Provides access to groundwater data from multiple, dispersed databases in a web-based mapping application.
  • Coastal Change Hazards Portal -- Includes data, information, and tools about storms, shoreline change, and sea-level rise.
  • WaterNow App -- Send a Site ID number to WaterNow@usgs.gov via email or text, and receive the latest USGS measurements at that gage immediately.
